Another blow to online privacy today
What is happening...
Step into my office
Google have took an odd step of warning some users that their computers could be at risk from state sponsored attacks.
The move is to protect activists, journalists and political figures who could be targeted online.
Google was unable to go into detail about why it knows specific activity is state-sponsored "without giving away information"
In other words my MGN if you hold strong views on any particular subject or are anti-government in some form google may be notifying you that you are at risk.....
Waves... Hello Truthseeker.....
You know I like many of you value my online privacy. Hence our cookie statement is right here on the site.
or take a peek here..
We don't hide it.
You see those targeted activists? journalists? and political figures?
Do they mean free thinkers?
Don't we live in a country that preaches democracy, equal rights, and freedom of speech.
Google themselves were recently in a privacy scandal using their google earth van with peoples wireless connections.
It's hard to know who's spin to believe. But the bottom line is the same.
Your privacy is being compromised.
